House

Found in	Towns, Villages, Manor houses, Inns, Seats

A household’s home. Up to two storeys in a village, three in a town, on narrow plots in rows along the streets, some with upper storeys jutting out. A village house has a garden of raised beds behind, often with a fruit tree, a hen house, a pigsty or bee skeps. Castles and seats use houses as lodgings; coaching inns have cottages along the road.
