Grass

Grass.

Small tufts of grass, drawn in the colour of the ground they grow from. They are the commonest plant on the disc.

Grass grows nearly everywhere: thickest on steppe, hills, savanna and marsh, thinner in the forests and on shrubland, and sparse on tundra, mountains and beaches. It also grows on salt marsh. Nothing grows on snow.

Grass greens in spring and browns in winter and in drought. Waves roll across it in a wind.

Grass is the first thing back after a wildfire, within weeks.
